Domicile of Käthe Kollwitz

The works of German artist are acknowledged, valued and cultivated in the whole world. After war and destruction only one place can provide authentic experience of the artist's personality: Her last domicile and place of death in Moritzburg. About 30 originals give an overview of more of 50 years of works by Käthe Kollwitz. The exhibits take us back into the past but also impressively touch matters which still affect us today in a similar way.

Extracts of diaries and letters and photographs enable visitors to get to know to Käthe Kollwitz on a very personal level.

Special exhibitions complete the permanent display.
Post cards, prints, posters and literature may be acquired in the store of the museum.
